The crèche also operates a comprehensive after school service (Junior infants through to 6th class) located on the grounds of Milford National School adjacent to the University.
The service is open all year round with the exception of a 2-week closure in August each year for annual leave and a one-week (approx) closure at Christmas.
Childcare is provided from 1.40pm to 6.00pm each day Monday to Friday and also during mid- tem breaks, school holidays and in-service training days (from 9.00am to 6.00pm).
A one hour service is also provided from 1.40 pm to 2.40 pm to facilitate parents who otherwise would have to make 2 school collections.
Activities include: Speech and drama, a language programme, arts and crafts, informal music, home work support, cooking and baking, physical activities and much more. The programme changes in accordance with the needs and wishes of the children.
The service also provides a freshly cooked main meal and snacks, prepared and cooked on site by our resident cook!
Fees:
The weekly fee for after school care is EUR70.00
The weekly fee for full time care (during mid term breaks/holidays is EUR135.00
