Name: Rev. Patricia McKee Hanna, B.A.(Mod), H.Dip.Ed., B.D., M.A.
Patricia has three children and has been working in the ordained ministry and pastoral care since 1983. Early youth club and youth work experiences at church, diocesan and national level developed into chaplaincy and parish work in East Belfast, Donegal and county Clare. A chaplain at UL for ten years, Patricia has enjoyed working at the cutting edge of interaction with third level students from at home and abroad, in a growing and expanding ministry on campus. She has experienced some of the joys, demands, sorrows and inconsistencies of a ministry recognised by both church and university. Having recently submitted her PhD in the form of a historical biography of a subversive antiquarian and clergyman at TCD, she is looking for the next project, writing up the PhD into a book, and some interesting short holidays combining travel, scholarship and seeing what happens at other universities.
