Academic supports available to Access students include a dedicated Access library service, this facilitates our students to borrow some of their course books for the semester, in order to avoid the high cost of purchasing academic texts.
We also provide free photocopying and a laptop loan scheme. Students taking new or challenging subjects may avail of group or individual focused tuition and we also provide courses that aim to support our students with their workload e.g. Study Skills seminars etc.
Also, we run sessions for 1st year students throughout the year, on identifying and accessing practical academic supports
