Orientation Days give an opportunity to second year students from our linked second level schools to visit the University for a day. They are provided with opportunities to learn about the University, the degree programmes and social activities available and they meet current students to gain the insider perspective on University life!
Academic staff volunteer to engage with the group in an imaginative, creative way about such topics as science, engineering and informatics to stimulate an interest in these subjects. While on campus the students also get the opportunity to visit the library and eat in the various canteens and get a feel for what it would be like to be a student at UL.
The 2011 Orientation Days will take during the Autumn Semester.
