ASCS Training (Class Timetable)
ASCS is the online data collection system SAA use to gather departmental scheduling requirements for production of the central university class timetable for each semester. Access to the system is available to all Heads of Department and their nominated Scheduling Co-ordinators. The system opens twice each year:
· Feb/Mar for submission of the following Autumn semester data
· Jul/Aug for submission of the following spring semester data
Training is available to all Head of Departments and their nominated Scheduling coordinators. Others who wish to inform themselves further on UL scheduling policy and process may also avail of this training (ie. Course Directors, Department Administrators). Formal training sessions are organised in February and July each year when the system opens. Ad-hoc training or advise is available at any time by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org.
