Congratulations on your exam results and welcome to the University of Limerick. If you have received an offer through the Central Applications Office, you must accept your offer of a place through the CAO if you are to be admitted to the University. As a new student to the University of Limerick, you are required to attend the UL Orientation Programme which takes place from Tuesday 1st September - Friday 4th September.

You will find a wealth of information on this site. Firstly, the New Student Guide is a useful document that helps you become familiar with the campus. You will also find some videos on some of the services on offer. In addition there are videos designed to assist you in navigating your way through the campus during the first few days. The video on the room numering system is particularly important. The videos are also hosted on the YouTube channel http://www,youtube.com/ulorientation.
You will also find details on the student adviser system where a member of academic staff is assigned to each student to provide support for the duration of your studies at the University.
There is also a useful checklist on what you should do before Orientation. You will also find details on the important activities of enrolment and registration.
An information pack is also being prepared for each student and the details on how these information packs are being distributed are available from the information pack pages.
