The VP Research is the institutional signatory for all research aggreements
The Research Office should be notified as soon as the notification is received, contact research.agreements@ul.ie
Allow on average 3-4 weeks for standard agreements to be approved and longer where negotiations are involved. If the Grant Notification Award amount is different to the budget submitted, you will need to agree a new budget with Accounts and potentially a modified set of deliverables with the Funding Agency
Once the agreement has been signed by all required parties, Cost Centres may be setup for the project
A full copy of the contract/letter of Agreement with the Funding Body and a copy of Proposal setting out Budget Breakdown must be included with the form
The form must be submitted to the Management Accountant for Research
Accounts will then setup and issue the Cost Centres, this will typically take 2-3 days
