Orientation & Enrolment
Orientation and enrolment for taught postgraduate students will take place at 9 am on Tuesday 30th August 2011 . All students that have paid an acceptance deposit and met all conditions as per their offer letter will receive details on orientation and enrolment in early to mid August. If you do not receive an orientation pack by this time, please contact the Postgraduate Admissions Office at +353-61-234377. Some programmes (e.g. part-time programmes) may have an alternative date and time for enrolment. If this is the case, then details of the alternative dates and times will be in your orientation pack.
During Orientation and Enrolment, students will be given a guided tour of the University, receive an ID Card and attend a course meeting. Please note that all Kemmy Business School (KBS) students are also required to attend a Special Lecture at 11.30 am in the KBS building.
Enrolment
Online Enrolment will be available from August 15th. You will receive instructions on how to enrol online in your orientation pack.
During the enrolment process you will go through two stages
- Fees Check (Fees Desk)
This ensures that you have paid the requisite amount of your fees required to be paid before you can enrol. Details of the amount due to be paid will be in your orientation pack.
- Issue of Student ID Card (ITD Desk)
At this point your are issued with your Student ID card which you will retain for the duration of your studies. You are not issued with a new ID card for each academic year. You Student ID card should be retained at all times and you must present your ID card when sitting examinations. In the event that you lose your ID card, replacement cards can be obtained from Student Academic Administration. There is a charge for replacement cards.

Registration
It is important that students make the distinction between enrolment and registration. Enrolment occurs once during orientation week when you join the University for the first time. Once you have enroled on your programme you must complete a registration process during the first week of each semester. The registration process is completed online and as part of this process you register for the modules that you are taking.
