New Sport Facilities at UL unveiled at President's Dinner

Key business leaders in the mid-west region came out in support of the eighth annual UL President's Gala Dinner, which was held in Dromoland Castle on Friday, May 13th.  Organised by the University of Limerick Foundation, the theme of the dinner supported Limerick as "European City of Sport 2011" and was centred around the inclusive nature of sport.

Clinical Therapies Conference comes to University of Limerick

 Clinical Therapies Experts from Ireland and the UK come together at UL to Collaborate on Rehabilitation Research.  The 7th annual conference of the Rehabilitation and Therapy Research Society (RTRS) took place at the University of Limerick today under the title 'Developing Clinical Research Partnerships'.

 

University of Limerick Degrees for Graduates of St Patrick's College, Thurles

Graduates of St. Patrick's College, Thurles, Co Tipperary will, from 2012, receive teaching degrees from the University of Limerick. The Third Level teacher education college announced an academic alliance with the University of Limerick (UL) today May 4th, 2011.

 

Still Smiling at Mile 9 !

Marathon runner Justin McDermott waves to the camera as he crosses the Living Bridge on the UL Campus at mile 9 of the Great Limerick Run which took place last Sunday 1st May.  Over 800 marathon runners took part in the race which wound its way through the UL campus.

 

Dalai Lama visits UL

On the final day of his visit to Ireland the XIV Dalai Lama addressed over 3,100 people at the University of Limerick .
