Annual Punch Lecture Sizes Up the New Thomond Park

The annual UL Punch Engineering Lecture drew a packed audience at the University Concert Hall as Tom Cosgrove, Structural Engineer for the newly referbished Thomond Park Rugby Ground detailed some of the amazing engineering aspects of the build.

Farmers Market Comes to UL Campus Community

On Tuesday, 16 September, the University of Limerick hosted its first Farmers Market. This weekly market brings local food producers (from across counties Limerick, Clare and Tipperary) into the centre of the university campus.  The Farmers Market initiative is part of a broader movement to encourage ethical consumption and sustainable development within the university.

Irish Architecture Award Winning Projects go on Display at UL

The twelve architecture projects, which were awarded Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland awards this summer, went on public display at the University of Limerick from 10th to 28th September.  The School of Architecture at UL are hosting an exhibition of the projects, which include all aspects of architecture from small house extensions and hairdressing salons to large office and public building projects.
