UL Faculty and Staff Saddened by Death of a good Friend of UL - Mr Paddy Dooley

Rowing Scholarship

The 2008/2009 recipient of the Paddy Dooley Rowing Scholarship at UL, Liam Rice from Fermoy, Co Cork was  formally awarded the scholarship which is worth €4000 over his four years of study. 

The faculty and staff  of UL were saddened to hear of the unexpected death of Mr Paddy Dooley shortly after this ceremony took place.

 

Bulgarian Ambassador Opens Exhibition at UL

Bulgarian Ambassador to Ireland Ambassador Emil Yalnazov and his wife Professor Silvia Nikolova-Yalnazova were on campus recently to officially open a documentary exhibition depicting James David Bourchier, an Irish journalist and political activist whose life and career became closely associated with the consolidation of the young Bulgarian state in the late 19th Century.
 

UL Engineers Take Flight !!

Final Year & Graduate Diploma students from the Mechanical & Aeronautical Engineering Department of the University of Limerick exhibited their stunning computer models of various helicopters ranging from private to military transport designs.

UL Graduate Medical School Open Day Draws Crowds

The UL Graduate Medical School recently opened its doors to prospective Students providing the information about the programme contents as well as qualification criteria and how to apply.  Current UL Graduate Medical School students were also on hand to give their first hand experience of the Programme.
