Calling UL Graduates: Does Your Graduation Year end in 3 or 8?

ULAA Reunion

Among those graduates who returned to the UL Campus for the 2007 Class Reunions hosted by ULAA were Gaelic Football Legend, Brian Mullins, Dublin (right) and AnneMarie Scarisbrick-Hauser who travelled from the USA with her husband, William (left).

Graduates of the University of Limerick whose graduation year ends in 3 or 8 are being invited to attend their official reunion by the UL Alumni Association.  The ULAA Class Reunion Day 2008 will be hosted on the UL campus on Saturday, 13th September.

Eligible graduates include all members of the Graduation Classes of NIHE/UL, NCPE, TCE from 1978, 1983, 1988, 1993, 1998 and 2003.  The Alumni guests will be officially welcomed back to the UL campus by President Professor Don Barry and will enjoy a welcome reception and campus tours to see the changes to the University since they graduated.  The day will end with a celebratory barbeque in the Stables Club with music from DJ Ber Angley.  A souvenir booklet will be produced and presented to the guests by ULAA to mark this occasion.

The University of Limerick Alumni Association, founded by graduates in 1987, exists to nurture a lifelong relationship between the University's graduates (alumni) and their alma mater. ULAA extends automatic free membership to all alumni.  Each September, ULAA hosts Class Reunions for those who graduated in earlier years.  According to ULAA's Executive Director, Majella O'Connell "Graduates who attend these popular gatherings typically converge on the campus from all parts of Ireland with a significant number travelling from abroad.  We recognise that returning graduates really welcome the opportunity to renew old friendships with class-mates and other college friends while also witnessing first-hand the amazing developments on campus in recent years including the campus expansion north of the river Shannon into County Clare."

Tickets are available and must be pre-booked.  To book your place online, visit ULAA's website <http://ulaa.ul.ie> or alternatively for telephone bookings, ring 061 202475.  An early-bird rate of €40.00. is available for all bookings received by 21 August 2008
