BEFORE YOU CAN ACCESS ELECTRONIC RESOURCES FROM HOME, YOU MUST...
- Have a valid UL computer account to use this service.
- If you do not have a valid computer account, please follow the instructions on how to set up a computer account which are listed on the Information Technology Division (ITD) website.
- Once you have created a computer account, log onto a computer on campus to make sure your computer account works.

Once you have created a computer account, to access the Library's electronic resources from home, you must...
- Open the following web page https://login.proxy.lib.ul.ie
- Log in with your username (in the case of students this is your ID number, your ID number will be listed on your student card) and password (your password is the password you would use to log into a computer on campus).
The login screen will look like this image below, which shows an example of a student's username and password.
