Accommodation

Students enrolled in UL may choose to live on campus in one of the five Student Villages. There are approximately 2,500 rooms available on campus managed by Plassey Campus Centre Ltd. Students also have the possibility of living off campus in shared accommodation that includes self-catering houses and apartments. Most off-campus accommodation is located within walking distance of the university campus.

The five on-campus Student Villages are maintained to a very high standard and detailed descriptions of Plassey Village, Kilmurry Village, Dromroe Village, Thomond Village and Cappavilla may be found on the Plassey Campus Centre website where booking forms are also available.

International Education

  Off-Campus Accommodation  

 A full list of suitable off campus housing is available from the Accommodation Office at UL. The Accommodation Office (Room D-0034) is open Monday - Friday, 11h00-12h30 and 14h30-16h30. You can expect to find accommodation within 1 to 3 days. A number of new designated student villages have all come on stream affording students a wider range of accommodation possibilities. Please contact the Accommodation Office for a list of accommodation available or check the local newspapers, the Limerick Leader and the Limerick Post for information on accommodation available in the Castletroy area for students.

Please note that early booking is essential to secure your accommodation -whether on or off-campus!  

International Education

Students who have not secured a place in one of the student villages are advised to book a room in temporary accommodation (hostel, bed & breakfast, hotel) for at least 2 nights in order to look for suitable accommodation upon arrival. A list of temporary accommodation is available below. On arrival at the university, students are advised to go directly to the Accommodation Office, Room D-0034 for a list of available accommodation.
