Accommodation

Students enrolled in UL may choose to live on-campus in one of the five Student Villages. There are approximately 2,500 rooms available on campus managed by Plassey Campus Centre Ltd. Students also have the possibility of living off campus in shared accommodation that includes self-catering houses and apartments. Most off-campus accommodation is located within walking distance of the university campus.

Please note that early booking is essential to secure your accommodation -whether on or off-campus!

  Off-Campus Accommodation

A list of suitable off-campus housing is available from the accommodation office in UL. The Accommodation Office (Room D-0034) is open Monday - Friday, 11h00-12h30 and 14h30-16h30. A number of new designated off-campus student villages have come on stream affording students a wider range of accommodation possibilities. Brookfield Hall and Parkview are two such residences which have rooms available, but it is advisable to reserve in advance. In addition, private accommodation is available within walking distance of the campus, but it is inadvisable to book this without viewing. If possible, students may consider spending a few days in Limerick in advance of their placement, in order to view and reserve this type of accommodation. A full list of private accommodation is available from the Accommodation Office or from the International Education Office at the University of Limerick . The alternative is to check the local newspapers, the Limerick Leader and the Limerick Post, for advertisements offering private accommodation in the Castletroy area for students.

The International Education Division will send all new students an information pack which contains an updated list of local bed & breakfasts.
