ITD launched a new email service for Undergraduate and Taught Postgraduate students in September 2009. This is a hosted email service called Outlook Live provided by the University in collaboration with Microsoft.
How to Login to Microsoft Outlook Live
Go to https://outlook.com
Windows Live ID = youridnumber@studentmail.ul.ie, e.g. 0123456@studentmail.ul.ie
Password = your personalised UL computer account password ****
****New Students are required to have changed their default UL computer account password (date of birth) to their own personalised password before logging into their UL Student Outlook Live email . Click here for information on changing your password
The first time you access your Outlook Live email account, you are required to activate the account. First Login to Microsoft Outlook Live
Microsoft Outlook Live provides you with a 10GB mailbox and email is now available through the same login interface, both on and off campus. Emails have a limit of 20MB.
Your new email login details (Windows Live ID) also gives you automatic access to 7GB of online storage called SkyDrive. SkyDrive is an online location to save access and share documents. Click here for further SkyDrive information.
