Communicating with Students
ITD have developed various Student Contact Lists to enable lecturers to communicate with students. These lists include Student Module Groups; Advisee Groups, Class Lists and All Year Students. The lists are for use by Staff only. The following document will guide you through the use of these lists.
You should only use email to communicate short messages to students. Use either Public Folders or SULIS for the communication of Lecture Notes etc.
SULIS - Learning Management System within UL
Sulis is the name that UL has adopted for Sakai, our common learning management system. Sulis is a set of software tools designed to help lecturers, tutors and students have spaces (web sites) for collaboration, communication, teaching and learning. It can be accessed from anywhere with an Internet connection.
