Welcome to the Employee Relations section of the UL Human Resources Division.
The Employee Relations section is responsible for advising, coaching and directing managers at all levels in the University, with regard to best practice in the management of their staff and in respect of their statutory responsibilities towards staff.
The Employee Relations section is also responsible for investigating disciplinary matters or allegations of a grievance, as well as representing the University, where appropriate, at meetings with the respresentative trade union; deals with the Labour Court, the Labour Relations Commission, Rights Commissioners, Partnership Committee, occupational health and the Employee Assistance Programme.
