TEAM BRIEFING AT THE UNIVERSITY OF LIMERICK

Team Briefing is a process whereby managers meet face-to-face with their teams so information can be delivered, questions asked and feedback collected from all staff at the University of Limerick.

The below document is a comprehensive guide to team briefing for both managers who have responsibility for delivering briefings and for the recipients of those briefings.

The process commences in September 2011 and applies to all members of staff. Each month, the President will brief his direct reports at Executive Committee. Those managers will then deliver a brief to their team of direct reports. The cascade of briefings will continue down through all the relevant levels of management until all staff have received a briefing.

To ensure that all staff receive the information in a timely manner, all briefings should be delivered within 10 working days of the initial President's briefing. A Team Briefing Calendar is included in the document below.
