B.E. Mechanical Engineering
B.E. Aeronautical Engineering
B.E. Biomedical Engineering
B.E. Computer Aided Engineering & Design
New Programme for September 2014 (International students only for 2014/2015)
B.Tech in Aircraft Maintenance and Operations
A unique feature of the B.E. programmes is an eight months work experience period within industry.
First year is common for the four B.E. courses so transfer between programmes after first year is allowed.
Students on the Engineering Choice programme can choose any of the above B.E. programmes, or B.E. programmes from other departments by the end of their first semester in UL.
The Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Aircraft Maintenance and Operations provides the opportunity to gain a degree as well as internationally recognised European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) qualifications.
Postgraduate Courses (Taught)
M.Eng. Mechanical Engineering
M.Eng. Aeronautical Engineering
MSc Biomedical Engineering
Graduate Diploma/M.Tech in Computer Aided Engineering Product Design
Structured PhD in Biomedical Engineering & Regenerative Medicine
Research within the department covers a wide range from wave energy to biomedical devices to composite materials to nanotechnology. Further information may be found on the Research pages.
