BSc and MSc in Applied Physics
The department offers the BSc and MSc programmes in Applied Physics which have a particular emphasis on nanoscience, nanotechnology, and nanomaterials. Science and engineering, require applied physicists capable of understanding and manipulating matter on the nanometre even atomic scale to advance a broad range of applications from communications to medicine. We provide in Applied Physics a core experimental physics training, but we also emphasise practical applications and innovation, and have an orientation towards modern industrial practice in the high-technology sector. A key factor in Applied Physics is the flexibility and freedom it allows its graduates in choosing a career. |
