The Department of Manufacturing and Operations Engineering in collaboration with Infineon Technologies is delighted to announce the launch of a new Diploma in Supply Chain Management programme. For more information please follow the link: Diploma in Supply Chain Management - Level 7.
The Department offers undergraduate level courses in Product Design and Technology, and Production Management, as well as a new and innovative blended learning programme in Science and Technology Studies, each leading to a Bachelor of Science Degree (BSc). As part of these programmes students are afforded the opportunity to spend nine months work experience in industry. The Department also delivers the technology content for the undergraduate courses Materials & Engineering Technology (Ed), and Materials & Architectural Technology (Ed).
At postgraduate level the Department offers a Graduate Diploma/Masters of Technology in Computer Aided Enterprise Performance Modelling and in Safety and Ergonomics. It also offers a Graduate Diploma/Masters of Science in Quality Management.

Research and professional development is strongly promoted within the Department which has a good record in attracting funding for postgraduate research from both the EU and Industry. The Department has developed numerous research links with industrial partners and research activities cover a wide range of topics from Enterprise Modelling to Technology Education.
