Kieran O'Sullivan
B.Physio, M.Manip Ther
Lecturer in Physiotherapy

Profile
Kieran graduated from University College Dublin in 1999. In 2004 he completed an MSc in Manipulative Therapy at Curtin University of Technology, Perth, Western Australia. In 2008 he was awarded specialist member status by the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists. His research interests include motor control disorders of the lumbar spine, occupational low back pain, hamstring injury and hip muscle dysfunction in lower limb injuries. He is currently completing his PhD, which is funded by the Health Research Board. This project will investigate the use of novel wireless technology to monitor and provide feedback on lumbar posture in subjects with low back pain while they are working.
