The Department of Psychology at the University of Limerick invites applications for 3 Four-Year PhD Scholarships commencing at the beginning of the the Academic Year 2012/2013
Available projects:

"Understanding the dynamics of positive psychology interventions." (Gallagher & Ritchie)
-
"The Experience of Time in Mindful Awareness: An Examination of Cognitive Mechanisms and Practical Utility." (Msetfi & Ritchie)
Application requirements:

Applicants should have or expect to receive at least an upper second honours degree in psychology or in a related discipline.

A good grounding in psychological research methods is essential and experience in conducting qualitative research and/or experimental research is desirable. Selection will be made on academic merit.
The scholarships include:
- A stipend and a contribution to UL fees for further information contact Dr. Eric Igou at eric.igou@ul.ie
Students would be required to:
- Undertake a maximum of 6 hours per week of teaching to undergraduates.
- Submit proposals to obtain external funding and UL funding (fee waivers) for PhD studies.
