Profile
I qualified as a Psychiatric Nurse in 1979 and graduated from University College Cork in 1996 with an honours degree in nursing studies. In 2002 I completed an MPhil at University College Cork. I have worked clinically with the Mental Health Services in many areas of mental health service provision for twenty-five years.
My area of interests are cultural competence of healthcare professionals and students; postgraduate educational requirements of Nurses and Midwives; aggression and violence in healthcare; trends in mental health nursing education;
