Hi, my name is Jelena and I am from Lithuania. I am a Childcare student and my goal is to become a Children nurse in the future. At the same time I am a student at the UL Language Centre and I am so delighted that I am studying here! I love the campus, it surroundings and the time that I spend here. The campus is always offering loads of activities or if I don't feel like it I can always go for a walk in the forest by the river Shannon.
Since I have started in UL, my English improved so much and I have so many new friends from all around the world. The teachers in here are so helpful and friendly! Coming to UL every day is most importantly fun and efficient for my English! - June 2011 |

Our names are Isabel, Roser & Eva. We are teachers from Barcelona (Spain) and we are taking the Introduction to Information and Communication Technology for Language Teachers course (see group picture). We are enjoying a lot of things about Ireland: We love people's kindness and great sense of humour. We find the Irish blessings very positive and inspiring. The landscapes are beautiful. The history and traditions (such as St Patrick's Day) are very interesting and useful for our classes because they are very motivating to our pupils. We are also enjoying a lot the ICT course, we are learning a lot and the teachers are brilliant!! - August 2011 |
| I'm François, I'm a French Air Traffic Controller. Every three years we have to go to an english-speaking country for a week training in general english. It was the first time I attended courses in a campus. I have to say I was happily surprised. First, the facilities are very good, the university is brand new. As for the courses, the langage Center was the best place I ever stayed in terms of tuition: enthusiastic teachers, important use of modern technology (a lot of films, images, recordings and extract directly played on a screen from the internet), brand new building, very modern as much of the campus, and a good social program. I found it very easy to meet other students, even being here for just one week. I surely would recommend this place for studies, I have to say the students here are very lucky. - October 2011 |

My name is Sergey (that's me on the left), I'm 28 and from Moscow, I'm jurisconsult in a construction company. It took me a long time to chose where to study English. Honestly I don't remember why I chose University Of Limerick Language centre, but now I understand that it was correct decision. These guys are magicians, they foresee everything that is necessary for me. I wanted enthusiastic teachers, which really love their work and to study in cozy classrooms - done. Then a huge library, language resources area, the world's best sport arena, clubs and societies, a great campus!
What else is required to make it the best place not for just study English, but also for practice it in your life? - November 2011 |

My name is Tao and I am from China. I studied Software Engineering in University of Limerick from July, 2010. I started my incredible journey in ULLC last year. It's a beautiful place and the English teachers in ULLC are all responsible and patient to us.
Outside the class, the colorful life in University of Limerick was also memorable. The campus in the university is very beautiful. Besides, the big library and many clubs and societies in the university made me felt that this university was not only beautiful outside, but also you will always find more to learn inside.
Tao has secured full time employment in a Computer Software Company in Galway City. We wish him success!

Hi. This is Jeongwan Park from South Korea. I came here from my university in Korea to study English for a short period. At first time when I got here, everything was so different but I realized the fun to look around this area. Pub is always full with people, and there were many facilities for students in university which was different with my university. Especially Gym!! It is great. And the English class was great. It was totally different as I expected. Much higher level, students from various countries, and best thing was very detail explanation about useful grammars. I think I have learned a lot from here. Of course there are so many places to visit. I will absolutely recommend to my friends to come here, study, and enjoy. Thank you Joan, Brigid, and Sharon. Thank you everyone that I met here. |
