The University of Limerick Language Centre is part of the School of Languages, Literature, Culture and Communication. The School is large and vibrant and plays a vital role in promoting quality research, teaching and learning at the University of Limerick. The School brings together the core subjects of French, German, Gaeilge, Spanish, Japanese, English, Linguistics, Technical Communication, English Language Teaching (ELT) and English as a Foreign Language (EFL).
Staff of the Language Centre collaborate with staff from the School on research projects in areas such as cultural diversity in the language classroom, self-directed learning and adult learners and new developments in language teaching.
