Use the checklist below to help you to prepare for graduation day and to ensure that the day is an enjoyable and memorable occasion for you and your guests.
Good financial standing:
Have you paid all fees and cleared all debts to the University (including outstanding library fines) and returned all books to the library? You must do so by Friday 9th of June 2017 to be eligible to graduate.
Ensure your guests are aware of the dress code (i.e. suit or jacket and tie for men, smart dress or suit for women).
Have you ordered your academic robes? Robes are collected on the day of the graduation from EG010 at specified times.
Have you given your guests their admission tickets?
Special seating requirements:
Do you or your guests have special seating requirements? If so, be sure to complete and submit the online special seating requirement form and return your original tickets to the Ceremonies Office, SG-009 Schuman Building, University of Limerick in advance of the ceremonies.
Your guests' entry point:
Ensure that your guests are aware of their entry point to the Foundation Building (the East entrance, across the courtyard from UL's Main Reception) and tell them to be seated half an hour prior to the ceremony commencement time (i.e. by 10h45 or 14h45, whichever time applies to your ceremony).
Have you confirmed your intention to attend a dress rehearsal prior to your ceremony? Your attendance at the rehearsal is compulsory, and you must wear your robes.
